Paul Sok, PT, DPT
Paul earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chapman University. From his studies, he learned one of the most important aspects about physical therapy is to listen to your patients because “the most basic of all human needs is the need to understand and be understood. The best way to understand people is to listen to them.” Once you listen, only then can you provide the best possible care for the individual. His background includes working with a broad spectrum of orthopedic and sports injuries in all ages. His doctoral research was on understanding biomechanical factors during falls in an older population. Paul is passionate about sharing his knowledge about the positive effects of moving your body and maintaining a healthy lifestyle through preventative measures.
Paul grew up in San Diego, CA where he was a high school athlete in basketball and tennis. He was also a middle and high school basketball coach while earning his Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Biology from U.C. Berkeley.
In his free time, Paul loves to stay active, watch movies, spend time with his family and friends, and learn about anything that can help him become “a wiser person today than he was yesterday”.
